Most running should feel easy
If every run is hard, none of them are doing their job.
Every training plan survives until the first bad week. What happens next decides your season.
The single most common error in amateur running is the medium-pace rut: every run moderately hard, never easy enough to recover, never hard enough to improve. Fixing that alone changes most runners' results.
The second is load. Injuries usually come from jumping mileage after a gap, or from stacking a hard week onto a bad night's sleep. A coach sees those patterns in your check-ins before they turn into weeks off.
And we stay in our lane: coaching is training guidance, not medical care. Pain gets referred to a professional, and the plan works around their advice.

A missed week is data, not failure. We adjust rather than restart.
For pain or injury we refer you out. Always.
